The Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program of Seattle (KCCP/Seattle) is a part of the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis’ KCCP project. Our committee is made up of Kiwanians who are dedicated to finding a cure for children’s cancer through the funding of Pediatric/Hematology Fellowships.
The Fellowship Program is for recently graduated doctors, who will spend three years, specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA. There they will be working directly with young patients from infants to young adults, as well as doing research work and clinical trials.
The participants are offered an opportunity to be part of a unique, world-class research and care environment. Seattle Children’s Hospital, the University of Washington Medical Center, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center are each world leaders – among the finest research and patient care institutions in the world. The combination of these three results in an unbeatable training experience.
We are dedicated to raising money to fund these Fellowships through the public, and our clubs.
Through our partnership with the PNW Kiwanis Foundation we are a 501 (c) 3.
